Warrawong Warriors @ Uni Futsal – Game 3
13-2 Loss (Dean 2 goals)

Our second game and a few new faces into the team saw us take on quite possibly the strongest team in our competition. 2-0 down in the first 30 seconds was an ominous sign. We persevered and after conceding a few more Dean found the back of the net to trail 6-1 at half time. The second half was more of the same, seeing us capitulate to a 13-1 deficit before Dean once again scored a double to finish the game.

A lot to work on in the coming weeks – we can only improve from now on.

“Walking Through Tough Times” is the theme for this year on 21st September 2013.

The venue is the Figtree Anglican Church from 9:00am until 3:00pm with lunch provided. The total cost is $10.00 for the day.

Warrawong Warriors @ Uni Futsal – Game 1
6-2 Loss (Dean 2 goals)

Our first game resulted in a 6-2 Loss, although considering the makeup of our team and the quality of the opposition, we played well.

Trailing 1-0 at half time, we were confident going into the 2nd half however our lack of fitness was obvious and we quickly fell behind 5-0. Two quick goals from Dean saw us get back into the game, however another easy goal for our opponents saw the game finish 6-2.

Kids Club at Warrawong Anglican Church runs during school terms on Fridays from 4:00pm until 5:30pm.
